July Camp NaNoWriMo - What Am I Writing?

So this is partially me joining in a #CampNaNoCountdown linkup, and partially me randomly deciding that I should tell you guys about what I'm writing for July's Camp NaNoWriMo.

Because obviously you were waiting to find out xD.

I'm assuming that a good portion of you saw my Five Poisoned Apples contest reveal - obviously I'm entering it ;). And that's going to be my Camp NaNoWriMo novella!

I can't tell you much about it yet (it's still in that super-secret mode, and only a few of my critique/writing buddies have heard anything about it), but I'm hoping to tell you more about it in a few months. I can't wait until it turns into a proper story, instead of a foggy-wild-crazy-idea-in-my-head!

But (seeing as I'm a NaNo Rebel), I'm not only working on one project. I'll also be writing more of Killing Snow, because I'm WAY behind schedule with it. The story has been changing majorly as I re-write it, so it's tons of fun and tons of stress. At the same time. My head may explode, someone send help.

and here's a messy snippet, because some of my friends said I should share one ...

So, in a nutshell (and a very short post *cringes*), that would be what I'm writing for Camp NaNoWriMo.

Except, there's always the slight chance that I might find some fun plot bunnies to go running after, and then I'll have to write even more. Just a slight chance xD.

~ Savannah Grace

Who here is doing July Camp? What are you currently writing?

  1. I'm also a Camp NaNo rebel; I'm working on my writing portfolio, college essays, and the sequel to last year's novel at the same time! I'm going to be super burnt out, but finishing my works is the most important thing. Currently, what I'm writing is for a small contest, but the piece just makes me quiver!

Just to let you know, check out my blog on Wednesday-- I tagged you in something!

  3. I'm going to be working on my Snow White retelling too!!!! 😁 What's your word count goal? Mine is 15,000 because 1) I've never done Nano and 2) I've never kept up with word count much so I don't know how long it will be... So yeah! Actually planning on doing this link up 😊

Anyway, I've heard a lot about this book of yours on your blog here, and I think it sounds really exciting and and good luck on the contest. :D

  17. I'm doing Camp NaNo!!! I'm working on the same thing I've been working on since November (sigh). I wanted to get the second draft done a loooooong time ago, but it didn't happen. I haven't figured out my goal yet, though. Regardless, I need to start working on it consistently. It's an epic fantasy story with way too many characters, but I love it and I'm not bored with it yet!
Also, I love the snippet. And I can't wait to here more about your Camp project!
