Some of you guys said you wanted to see me do a book haul, so here we are! My apologies that the color and quality of the video aren't quite up to par (*cough* and for the fact that the bookshelf behind me is a mess, I'm working on reorganizing my books *cough*), Ariel and I were having some technical issues - just pretend to ignore it xD. Onto the book haul vlog!
And ... well, I don't mention it in the video, but I just got some more books (wherever shall I put them all *winces*). Perhaps there's another book haul vlog in the future? xD
I hope you guys enjoyed that! It was so much fun to tape. And do tell me down in the comments if a book review in vlog form would be fun for y'all, because I think it would be highly amusing to do!

ReplyDeleteBut this was a great book haul. I wish I could afford to buy more books/had a good second-hand bookstore in my town. There isn't one :(
DON'T READ THE SIXTH BOOK. PUT IT DOWN RIGHT NOW AND BACK AWAY SLOWLY.
WAIT, THERE HAS BEEN MISUNDERSTANDING xD. I've already read the whole series (up to book five), so three would have been a re-read. But it was MAJORLY confusing to read one of the earlier books in the series, and one of the later ones, too xD.

DeleteAhh, Michael Vey! I'm so stoked to read the final book of the series, although it's kind of sad since another series ends :'( I'm so happy you found the Inkheart trilogy all together, though-- I've been trying to find a used set since forever but it hasn't been a good search.

DeleteI actually ended up buying two used copies of Inkheart - one is hardcover and the other is paperback - and now I have to decided which one to keep! xD I hope your searching for the series goes well!
I really enjoyed the vlog! I barely recognised most of the books but the covers look so pretty *heart eyes*

ReplyDeleteAhhh, I need to read The Maze Runner! And I also want to read The Boy Who Lost Fairyland. I'll probably end up checking it out from the library, but your copy is so gorgeous! How well does it fit in with the rest of the Fairyland books? Are September, El, and Saturday involved, or is there an entirely new cast?

DeleteThe Maze Runner is so good - I actually liked it better as a reread! And oh my, THE BOY WHO LOST FAIRYLAND <3 <3. I don't think September, El, and Saturday come in until the last few chapters, so it's almost like there's a new cast? But the "new cast" of characters is just as lovable!
I LOVED WATCHING THIS GIRL!!! srsly, Y'ALL ARE SO MUCH BETTER AT FILMING THEN ME!! (and my voice is terrible...) And you guys were hilarious! XDD A book review would be fantabulous!!

I've never heard of The Clockwork Three, but it looks super intriguing! BUT SPLINTERED. I have been wanting to read that for AGES. It's an Alice in Wonderland retelling so obviously I need it!!!!!!!!! And I've heard it's one of the best AiW retellings. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it! I haven't read The Girl Who Drank the Moon either, but I've heard really good things about it! And I could just stare at the Unraveling cover all day. So pwettyyyyy. o__o

It is SO weird you were thinking about doing a book review in vlog form. Because literally this morning it hit me how fun it'd be do to book reviews via a vlog. You should do a book review of Left Behind series by Jerry B Jenkins (maybe for one or two of the books??? The kid series. That's the only one I've read, but I can't wait to read the adult ones. Lol). You should do it in vlog form. Those are always fun!
